handmade jewellery workshops
I will be running handmade jewellery workshops in La Marina on the Costa Blanca on various dates throughout the year. For Beginners, Beginners Plus+, Intermediate and Advanced. Covering Silver Clay jewellery, bronze clay, copper clay, beading and silver wire work jewellery, jump ring chainmail jewelr, beads and dichroic glass pendants, and combinations of these media.
About Me
I am a professional jewellery maker and trained as a teacher in my late 20s. I specialise in bead, wire, silver clay and dichroic glass jewellery. In addition to my teaching, I also make and sell over 200 pieces of jewellery a year myself.

Workshops - Beginners
BEGINNERS WIREWORK JEWELLERY WORKSHOP
Level: Beginner no previous experience required.
Time: 10.00 a.m – 3.00 p.m.
Lunch: 1 hour
Cost: 60.00 euros includes lunch and all materials. (20 euro deposit required)
Content: You will learn:
- different types of wires available and their use
- different types of tools available and their uses
- different types of beads
- how to cut, straighten and bend wire.
- how to make different types of loops,
- how to make headpins
- how to wire wrap
- how to form simple chain links
- how to make different types of clasps.
- how to attach beads
- and much more.
Being able to make all the above components yourself will save you money as you won't have the expense of buying pre-made components.
The workshop will culminate in designing and fabricating your own unique piece of jewellery to take home.
We have a great selection of glass beads and wires of all shapes, sizes and colours
Product: You will leave with a pair of silver plated , glass beaded earrings and bracelet

BEGINNERS JUMP RING AND CHAINMAIL JEWELLERY WORKSHOP
Level: Beginner no previous experience necessary
Time: 10.00 a.m – 3.00 p.m.
Lunch: 1 hour
Cost: 60.00 euros includes lunch and all materials. (20 euro deposit required)
Content: You will learn:
- different types of wire available and their uses
- different types of tools available and their uses
- how to bend wire to form jump rings
- how to cut wire
- basics of chain mail
You will then begin making a beautiful chainmail necklace which you will be able to finish at home.
Product: You will leave with a chunky chainmail weave bracelet and necklace in silver plate.

BEGINNERS PURE SILVER CLAY JEWELLERY WORKSHOP
Level: Beginner no previous experience necessary.
Time: 10.00 a.m – 3.00 p.m.
Lunch: 1 hour
Cost: 90.00 euros includes lunch and all materials. Price includes 10 grams pure silver clay. (30 euro deposit required)
Content: You will learn:
- Basic techniques of rolling, shaping and cutting the clay.
- how to create a smooth surface whilst the clay is unfired
- how to carve and mould the clay
- how to prepare the clay ready for firing
- how to fire your finished pieces without a kiln so you can do it at home in your own kitchen.
- how to finishing, polish and maintain your finished piece.
We will guide you through the basics, allowing you to be creative without the pressure of costly mistakes that can be common with a new hobby. More about silver clay
